This is a beautiful piece and was fairly easy to assemble. My only complaint is that the shelves and top bracket cannot be flush to the wall because of baseboard trim. I have to remove baseboard to get it flush to the wall for needed support. If not for that, I would give it a 5.Desk is the perfect size for my 7 year old and the style matches perfectly in his bedroom. I switched out the drawer handle to a bigger wooden one I had on hand and added lights under the shelves. The drawer paint was messed up when it arrived, but everything else arrived fine. I anchored it to the wall so it’s more secure than just a screw.I can use this desk to sit and stand. I am 5'6'' for reference. Con: you do need to drill the top support beam in. Everything else comes ready to assemble. I have not installed the support beam yet (it has been maybe 6 months) and while it still functions, it is a bit wobbly without it.I just received this desk a few days ago and I really like the simplicity of it. But the only issue was when I examined the shelves I had a little a dent on one of them, not sure if it’s from shipping. But other then that it is serving it’s purpose.It's made of actual wood, not particle board! It's beautiful in color and seems well made so far.This desk is great! Wasn’t that hard to put together. Great for small spaces. It’s definitely not super sturdy if you don’t secure it to the wall so I recommend you do that as we did.Easy to assemble and just a clean, modern look for a fraction of what you would pay at a high-end retailer.Used a few months and holding up very well!!Overall, the quality and style of the desk was nice. I liked the style and it fit perfectly in our small room. However, halfway through the assembly, we realized two screws were missing that is part of holding the shelves in place. It was so frustrating after spending so long assembling it that I decided to just buy the two pieces at a hardware store rather than disassembling and returning it.
