The desk itself is nice. It is very heavy, and I had trouble lugging it into my house (two men delivered it to my front door). I had to unpack it in my living room because I could not get it up the steps to put into my bedroom. I had so much trouble getting it up the flight of stairs because it is so heavy (I had no one to help me). Assembling it was not very difficult but again I struggled to get it to a standing position due to its weight and my short stature. The drawer glider does not slide very easily on one side - it looks like it is slightly bent which prevents easy open/close motion. I do like it, and it compliments my room.
