mics are very hard to judge by their reviews because so many people are average people that dont realize you can turn up input volume.this mic works very well, I compared it too my built in laptop mic in audacity and the difference in noise was huge(this mic had little to no noise)I did have to turn the input volume up but I knew I would have to.I'll be using this mic for recording multiple people at once and I hope it works just as well as it did recording me
