Assembly instructions are thorough and easy to follow. They are mostly pictorial with some added written instructions. The labaling and packaging of the hardware is also good. Have a scissors handy for dividing and opening the hardware packets as you need them. The actual assembly took me about an hour, but I took my time. Assembly is easy enough. Keep the box handy to use during assembly, as shown in the instructions. An Allen wrench is included. The construction seems sturdy enough. It's not built for severe abuse, but should hold up well with reasonable use and care. As always, time will tell how it holds up.Now for the "issue", which likely isn't even an issue for a slender person. The adjustable lumbar support (which is a good idea and adjusts easily) wouldn't adjust far enough rearward for a person of my particular girth. I have about a 45-inch waist, and the support held me far enough forward that the front edge of the seat cushion was too far back from my knees. This made it feel like I was sliding forward. (I initially had the seat mounted backwards on the support plate. This caused the seat to tilt slightly forward, making the problem worse. Make sure the adjusting knob under the seat points to the front edge of the seat.) To eliminate the problem of sitting too far forward on the seat cushion, I removed the lumbar support assembly. It can be done without damaging anything, and it made a big difference. It should not be too difficult to reinstall the support if a future owner wished to use it. It is held in place by four #1 Phillips-head screws that are accessible through the mesh. Shine a strong flashlight through the mesh to find them. If you use a small flat-blade screwdriver (like a pocket screwdriver) and are careful, the mesh will not be damaged or stretched. The screws are quite tight, so you will need to push very firmly to keep the blade engaged with the slots. I see no safety issues that could result from removing the lumbar support, and being able to slide my kiester farther back in the chair makes for a quite comfortable chair.I would recommend this chair, but be sure to check the seat dimensions (listed in the description) against those of a chair that you can comfortably sit in. This chair has a nice range of adjustment for the height, and when all the way down is still a little taller than my last 2 chairs. I also really like the flip-up arms.it’s incredibly comfortable for working long hours. i usually use a cushion with my other chairs but with this one it’s not incredibly necessary.i just wish you could recline a bit - there’s like 0 give when leaning back.I don't work from home every day so this is good find at a good price for the once or twice a week I am at home. I wouldn't want to sit in it all day, every day - but good option for those occasional sitters.Assembly was relatively easy, other than the stubborn bolts that attach the arms. The chair may actually be too high at its highest settings for most. I'm 6'0'', and at the highest setting, the bottom of my feet hover about a foot off the floor. It's easily adjustable to any height you want, along with the footrest loop for foot support. Bought for a shop/garage chair, and it seems to be comfortable enough, along with the airy mesh fabric for cooling breezes to reach thru to your body during the summer. This chair squeaks when sitting or moving in itI had one small issue with a screw that would strip when I assembled the chair. I wrote to them about it to get a new screw and part. The seller was very responsive and communicated quickly with me. Problem has been resolved. Highly recommend this company.Nice and sturdy chair. I weigh 267 lbs. also bought the rubber wheels, make it easier to roll on the tilesThe box was delivered upside down with one flap of the bottom open. The parts list and assembly instructions were nowhere to be found. After unpacking it, I was able to determine there were no missing parts. It took some trial and error, but I was finally able to assemble it without the instructions. I replaced the plastic wheels with rubber wheels so it rolls very easy across the wood floor.
