While it's not as simple as pushing a button to adjust the height, it only involves removing a couple of screws and moving where you like it. Once I get a different chair I will have it so I can stand up but for now, on the lowest setting, it is a very comfortable height.The available space is impressive. I have an ultrawide monitor and still have plenty of room for speakers and other clutter on my desk. I joked around about putting two ultrawides but I think I could actually pull it off no problem. The keyboard level has so much room it's almost overwhelming. It is the perfect size for a nice drawing tablet, full sized keyboard and mouse with room left over. The only real downside is the lack of drawers but it's actually been nice without them. The bottom shelf is perfect for your pc, subwoofer, and a vinyl storage cube with a small trash can. At the lowest setting, my pc barely fits (mid sized case) so if you have a large (vertical) case then you will have to take advantage of a higher setting.It has wheels with locks on them to move it around with ease but it's not even super heavy on its own if you need to carry it. It also comes apart pretty easy to carry out in two somewhat convenient pieces. I bought this desk because my old desk was just a big bulky wooden desk that was just getting old having to move around. This is a bit more modern and has more space available. The adjustable height is also what I was after. For the price range this works just fine. Any of the mechanical ones will be a few hundred bucks more with less space. I don't really need to adjust on the fly once I get a taller chair.Assembly wasn't terrible. I could see it being very frustrating for one person at least the first few steps. With another person it didn't take long at all. I accidentally stripped one of the bolts embedded in one of the shelves. A little super glue fixed it right up though. It was mostly my fault but some clearer directions might have prevented it.It's exactly what I wanted out of a desk even if it doesn't have a remote control. It's very sturdy, easy to move, adjustable, and looks good in a home office. I'm considering getting another one for my wife and guests.
