Needed an upgrade from my cheap desk I bought when Covid started. This gave me so much room. It was more than I expected. Great purchaseSet up took about 45 minutes to an hour and the instructions were simple enough. Arrived in good shape, is heavy but not too bad to put together alone. I wish the cable management system was sturdier and had better exit points but it does the job. Very sturdy. Covers for hardware don’t easily stay on but pushing the plastic pieces in and forcing it a bit seems to do the trick. Some just don’t work well and are best put in unseen places under desk in case they fall out eventually. I’d buy again. The desk itself is great, and the customer support was pretty good when I reached out for support, so kudos for that.Still, I'm not sure how anyone would expect the desk to arrive in one piece given the way it was packaged. The cardboard box the desk shipped is inadequate to properly protect an item of this size and weight, and arrived severely damaged with several holes. All of the bags with the hardware fell out during shipping, and almost all plastic parts were damaged or lost as well. Several of the wooden sections had superficial scratches since once the box gave way, they shifted around inside what was left of the box and scratched against each other. Considering how damaged the packaging was, I'm surprised they arrive in as good a shape as they did and most of the damage is not noticeable once the desk was assembled. The fact I had no hardware meant that I had to store the pieces for the desk until the replacements arrived from Bush which took around a week. The wood panels are not exactly small, so it was less than convenient to store them for a week.Overall, I give this desk four stars. Five stars for how well built most of the desk is, dock two stars for the inadequate packaging, and add one back for their customer service which was great and responsive even in the middle of a pandemic.I've purchased the Buss business furniture series A once before and it last me a long time. The day I sold it, it looked almost as good as the day i put it together. I purchased this desk for my new home office and just as my last set, this one too is very sturdy and looks great.I've been looking for a desk to put a six monitor Ergotech desk stand on, and I had at some point decided I wanted something modular. I had previously used a pair of plastic tables that weren't up to the task, and sat at different heights, annoying me to no end (I'm OCD when it comes to my keyboard being at the same level as my mouse).Enter the Bush Business Furniture Series A. I was a bit concerned regarding the reviews, and stories of damaged desks, so it was with much trepidation that I ordered this desk, and a keyboard tray. When the desk arrived, I found that it did have a minor scuff mark on the side of the desk facing outwards, which didn't really bother me.Setup was pretty simple, although the instructions were rather cryptic. The instructions I received consisted of no more than pictures, no text instructions. Having said that, if you can follow a picture book, you can assemble this desk. For tools, you'll need at most a hammer and a flat head screwdriver. The exact dimensions once assembled are 59.57" W X 26.81" D X 29.80" H ( Grabbed this from Bush's website )My six monitor stand seems to be holding three 24" monitors without issue at the moment, so the desk appears to be pretty sturdy. It will flex a bit if you lean onto the table though, so I wouldn't go too hog wild with it. I would have preferred the side and back pieces be made of metal, especially for the price paid, but other than that, I would definitely recommend this desk. I would also recommend being present at time of delivery-- if there is considerable damage, you can refuse the product and generally get a quick replacement. The feet are attached to the legs of the desk via two 3 inch screws on each side. All 4 pilot holes were only predrilled to a depth of 2 1/4". You will strip the heads of the screws if you attempt to screw them in without increasing the depth of the pilot holes. Measure the length of the screws you receive with your desk and make sure the pilot holes are as deep as the length of the screw. The diameter of the pilot hole should be slightly less wide than the screw itself. I used a 3/16" extra long drill bit and re-drilled all 4 pilot holes 3 inches deep to match the length of the screws I received and this worked fine. Other reviews have reported this issue as far back as 3 years ago however the manufacturer has not bothered to correct the issue. The desk itself looks very nice once it is completed and is sturdy. This desk is well packed, and seems to weather rough handling in transit with ease. Shipping weight is more than 65 lbs, so make sure you have a helper if you can't move such weight on your own. This desk is really easy to assemble, with 16 cam and screw fasteners, and a handful of screws to drive. Keep in mind that there are a couple of wooden pegs that need to be installed between the legs and the desk surface, so have a small mallet and some wood glue (not included) handy to speed installation. Do keep track of all the fasteners, as the manufacturer is VERY precise in the number of items included... there were no spares left over upon completion of assembly. The only negative I've found with this desk, is the wire management parts included. The wire grommets and covers are thin plastic, and the desk top covers, do not really stay in place when wires are routed through the holes. The wire managers along the back panel are very roughly molded, and are made from cheap plastic. While there are close to 10 holes in each wire manager to attach them to the desk, only 2 screws are included per wire manager to fasten them. I would really like to see 2-3 more screws per wire manager, to securely fasten them to the desk. I suspect these wire managers will require replacement with something much more up to the task, in the near future.
