First, they ship this 110b desk in ONE box. That doesn't make the FedEx guy very happy and, judging from the look of the box and the disheveled contents, none of the other handlers between there and here were very happy either. See attached photos. Sending this in 3 boxes would have been much more appropriate. Fortunately, and amazingly given the looks, there was no damage to the desk components.Second, this takes about 3-4 hours to set up and that's with some experience with this kind of furniture. Several steps require thorough examination of the part versus the tiny picture in the instructions when a few printed words ("Use the holes closest to the U-shaped cut out") could have saved a lot of time. I don't know if they are trying to save ink or what but a sentence or two here or there would have made the instructions much more user friendly. At one point, there's nothing but a picture of a finished desk with a caption that reads "Go to Step 27". It's not immediately clear that the intent is "If you want this configuration Go To Step 27, if you want the configuration in the next picture Go To Step 20" Again, a sentence or two would be immensely helpful.Third, I realize this is one step up from Wal*Mart furniture but I expected an actual "step up". This IS Walmart furniture. A number of the holes for the lock pins or their locking lugs are cut crooked. This means that when the lug is twisted tight on the pin it does not stay flush with the surface but angles out. Fortunately, most of these are hidden from normal view. It's a QC issue that should be addressed. In addition, there was NO WAY to attach the sliders for the bottom drawer on either the drawer or the desk that allowed the drawer to close fully. The sliders WORK wonderfully but the drawer was left 1/2 out from closing. At first, I thought I'd just used the wrong holes in the brackets (remember the comparing the tiny pictures comment?) but, no, the next holes would have left the drawer against the desk face but the slider would have been well back from it's rubber stop... a bandaid fix at best. So, I had to drill my own holes in the drawer for properly placing the bracket.When it's finished, it's a nice looking desk and seems reasonably rugged/solid. I highly recommend (with all furniture of this type) that the builder use a bead of wood glue between all the joints. The added strength is hard to over-state.I realize this isn't an $1000 desk and wasn't expecting one but it would have been nice for $180 to get a step up from $75 Walmart furniture. Sadly, I found afterwords that Walmart does in fact sell this same desk...
