Like many, we're distance learning from home during the pandemic and were struggling to find a desk set that was a) affordable (because I don't really see this becoming a permanent fixture in my living room), and b) adjustable (because I have two kids who vary in size and age but insist on having matching things). I really wasn't expecting much when I ordered these sets, but I figured for the price I couldn't go wrong and it would be something to get them through until we could return to in-person learning.I was so wrong! I love these little desks!A few of my favorite parts: 1) adjustable heights for both the chair and the desk makes it perfect for an ergonomic seating position (one of my kiddos has special needs and really needs that proper alignment when he's working), so it'll grow with my kids as they do. 2) I bought the model with the drawer and it's perfect for us- I grab the printed-out items my kids will need for their day and stash them in the drawer so they don't have to go hunting during a Zoom meeting. 3) There are so many places to store pencils and supplies that you don't need a ton of school supply tubs near their desks. 4) They're sturdy enough to work on for their kindergarten and second grade learning days, but the chairs are easy enough for them to slide in and out on their own. 5) The headphone hook on the right of the desk means no more "OMG MOM!! Where are my headphones?!" moments (woo hoo!).Our desks are also the model that tilts but we honestly haven't ever used that feature as they are most often using an Ipad on a tilted stand, or doing work on paper and want the flat surface.It's also easy to clean up and even permanent marker comes off (with a magic eraser and a little elbow grease). I love these little desks and hope to move them into my children's rooms when they head back to school, so they can do homework or have drawing space for years to come.Like a lot of the reviewers, I found the instructions to be lacking and NONE of the parts were labeled. This lead to having to partially disassemble and reassemble a couple times, despite paying close attention to the illustrations. We bought one for each of our two boys, 2nd assembly was much smoother.Some of the unlabeled pieces were also filthy out of the box, even with some rusty marks on the legs. Be prepared with some antibacterial wipes or paper towels and cleaner.Overall: Though assembly was a headache because of the poor instructions, the end result is nice. I'm confident we'll get several years of use out of them thanks to the sturdiness and adjustable height. Happy with my purchase.I like the desk being adjustable and it fits well into the space I have for it. It was pretty easy to assemble due to the size, but some of the instructions were confusing to follow. The company was very receptive and helpful, so if I needed to, I would buy from them again.I like this little desk. My daughter is learning from home due to the virus and this fits right next to my desk so I can keep an eye on her. The desktop is just barely large enough for her laptop so she ends up doing her writing on her lap. Another issue is, due to the adjustability. we have to be careful moving it because if we lift straight up, as one does, it extends to the highest height and we have to readjust it every time. It would be nice if it would lock into position until we need to adjust it.The instructions were IKEA like only worse. Very confusing, and took hours to assemble. I had a couple of leftover parts that I could not figure out how to install. Gave up the first day because I knew It wasn't quite right and thought I would have to take everything apart and start over. Woke up in the middle of the night night a couple of days later and finished it so it looked like the picture. Still have the leftover parts which are probably a safety issue.This is a wonderful desk for kids that can grow into it for quite some time. My only wish is that the table's length and width was about 6 more inches. It would make a difference.Chair screws loosen after seat was adjusted and was stripped. My daughter cannot use her chair anymore and it’s only been 1-2 months.I love this desk for my child. She really appreciates her virtual learning in a great desk. The chair and desk adjusts to the right height with ease. Also. The draw is a great tool to keep her pencils, scissors, glue and papers well organized. I think anyone with a virtual student will definitely not be disappointed. Super easy to assemble and will give your child a chance to learn in style!
