Pros:- Good price for broke college students like myself who are in need of something that resembles a desk.- Desk is solid and sturdy for the most part. No rocking or squeaking at all after assembly.- Thick desktop- Has an awesome bookshelf underneath that you won’t hit your shins on as long as you’re not scooting up against it all the way.Cons:- Seems to scratch easily, so be careful. Mine came in with two scratches on the right side of the desk. Kind of a bummer, but it’s still a desk.- Delivery for me was at 5 am in the morning. Heard a loud thump on my porch and was confused as to why it was delivered so early in the morning.- Assembly requires two people. Because it was so early and I didn’t want to wake anyone up to help, I ended up just doing it myself...and it was a pain. I did IKEA desks by myself and it was fine, but this one was so difficult.- Metal legs are not very good in terms of quality. Seemed like they were about to break as I was screwing stuff together.- Honestly don’t know how long it’s gonna last, but I desperately needed a desk, so I got one now.Overall, if you’re looking to spend 100-120 on a desk, this one is fine. Just don’t expect it to be super high quality or in pristine condition. Mine was not, but I built it and am using it right now. It works, so it’s fine for me.I’ve owned a few of these cheap desks in the past with varying degrees of satisfaction. This is one of the better ones I’ve gotten.First, I was able to put it together in about 40 minutes, taking my time. The holes on the pieces lined up pretty well, which is a great sign and a rare occurrence. I have found that the trick is to only tighten the bolts/screws about half way until you’ve got a section or two complete. Then circle back and tighten everything the rest of the way when it’s all together.Second, it’s pretty solid, I.e. no wobble. While of course, the wood is not ‘real’ but rather composite, the top piece is pretty solid and heavy. Again, slightly better than expected. It’s a little smaller than I was imagining but that’s on me. The measurements are clearly listed. It would probably be a stretch to fit 3 24” monitors. It’s sufficient for 2 though. The one major improvement is if it had a keyboard tray included as I ended up buying a clamp on one to gain a little real estate on the desktop.Overall though, it’s worth the price.Note: there are about 5 different manufacturers that offer a very similar desk to this on Amazon. Hard to determine if they are all coming out of the same Chinese manufacturer with just different labels or if they are truly different so my default is to depend on price and reviews. This one fell in the middle range of price and had less reviews than most but it was delivered faster. I would guess this is as good or better than the others so if you find yourself trying to decide between the very similar desks, this one is a good option.I was looking for a sturdy, attractive and decently priced desk. This desk definitely fits the bill. I needed some help with assembly. Basically just another pair of hands to hold it in place while I lined up the holes and screwed everything in.There a few minor issues that kept me from giving it a five star rating. It is short. I'm 5'4 and while I can sit at it I might get something to raise it up a couple of inches. The drawer pull is horrible. It has very sharp corners but that was an easy and cheap fix. I replaced it with another one.Uses heavy duty steel as the frame, easy to assemble, solid desk. Pay attention to the instruction manual that says in bold letters DON'T FULLY TIGHTEN UNTIL COMPLETELY ASSEMBLED. This helps a ton when finishing building the piece, you can get all the screws threaded, and slightly tightened, then once you get the final "top" piece screws started, then you go back and tighten everything down. All screws are accessible during and after assembly, so this is easy to do. Nice dark "wood-looking" finish on the table top piece. The "bookshelf" makes for easy cable management of PC components and wires too.For the money, this is a pretty good desk. The assembly was easy and the desk is a lot sturdier than others that I have put together. It also seems pretty resistant to scratches and marks. The one thing is with the middle drawer size, for me when I am sitting at the desk and have my chair adjusted so that it is comfortable to type, etc my legs hit the bottom of the desk. When I lower my chair so that I can slide under it comfortably, then the top of the table is a bit high and not as comfortable. Maybe it is just the way I am sitting and I am sure I will get used to it, the height is great, it's just having that drawer under it makes it a bit harder. I am still pretty happy with the desk. Thus desk fit my needs very well! Had an L-Shaped desk, though it was great at first as time wen't on I felt limited in my configuration of work space. I already had a writing desk added to my set up, this Dewel desk looked like the right fit and it was.Putting it together was a breeze until finalizing the last step of putting the desk top on. After multiple tries the screws finally matched with the holes they needed to go in. Everything else set up wise was pretty simple. Height and width seemed to be a bit short at first though the height is quite perfect. One finally thing, the packaging is very well done and seems to protect most of the desk. Sadly mine did come with a bit of a blemish, though it doesnt change the use of the desk it was an annoyance. Glad to have taken the chance on this desk.Update: Holes on the underside of the desk aren't even, so the surface can only be screwed in at two corners and at the middle. There are also tons of holes and blemishes under the table top. We managed to get it set after a while and the desk is pretty stable, but since the two opposing corners can't be screwed in I am not 100% comfortable. The surface feels kind of cheap, but otherwise beside the flaws it's good.
